Pound Fit!

Hello all! I work at the rec center on campus! I am a group fitness instructor and I teach Pound Fit! This past weekend my class was evaluated and I was also this week’s instructor spotlight! (see picture below from Instagram!)

Pound Fit is a blast! Its a high intensity cardio workout! We hit lots of squats and lunges and abs and booty! As you can see from the picture, we have those bright green sticks – Ripsticks! We use these all class long to pound it out. The best part? Its all choreographed to AWESOME music!!! We hit our sticks right along to the beat. It burns up to 400-700 calories per hour! Oh yeah!!! If you can’t make it to a class, they have a DVD and kit for pounding at home!

I highly highly recommend this workout. I fell in love with it last year around this time and became an instructor in March! Teaching is so fun! Please let me know if you have any questions about the class or contact the girls!
